We have become full classical University

The date of 1 June 2023 will forever be written in the history of Pomeranian University in Słupsk.  It is on this day that our institution became a full (classical) University! The status upgrade is a result of years-long hard work of our researchers, positive outcome of last year’s research output evaluation as well as incessant work of the university management towards this goal. 

The Polish name of our university changed from Akademia Pomorska w Słupsku into Uniwersytet Pomorski w Słupsku. The English name remains unchanged. 

 

On this wonderful occasion, Rector of Pomeranian University in Słupsk, professor Zbigniew Osadowski, congratulates all the past and present academic and administrative staff, alumni as well as friends and supporters of our Alma Mater for their 54-year long contribution in its development.
